Awareness.

—With every photographic outing , I’m often wondering what can I find? What interesting way can I see something that I’ve seen a thousand times? Sometimes I find something. Most times I don’t. And that’s ok. I’ve realized over the years that it gets harder to see the familiar and that it’s often best to step outside those comfort zones that your used to in order to find new things that engage you.

The challenges in my career as of late, has been the notion of keeping the axe sharp so to speak. Configuring a way to stay on the pulse of my craft, culture and attempting to balance all the other life things. Family and relationships. It’s been tough. But I know that’s all the complete journey. All those things, those efforts pour into one another. My attempt now is to just deepen the try. Double down on the efforts. Realizing now that this is my own palette, do what you want with it. No one to tell you no or how. It’s solely upon you.
